Question Want an Adjustable Ridgline in my HH Exped?

I just received some new whoopie slings for my HH. I already did a whoopie conversion, but the amsteel I bought was 3/16 instead of 7/64. I also purchased 100 ' of amsteel blue for making things. What should I do with this stuff. I have heard that making an adjustable ridgleline is just one of the fabulous mods you can do with this stuff. I would really like to put in an adjustable RL, but really don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and maybe some ideas on what else to do with this stuff?

    Sincerely ... Snide Tripod

I personally think adjustable ridgelines are overrated. If your sag is ok now, don't worry about switching out your ridgeline. The Hennessy stock ones are pretty much dialed in.

Depending on how he put on the slings he may have already screwed up the Hennessy ridge line. Once you take off the old rope everything else goes out the window. That is why I advise cutting it back and leaving the lashing and anchor points alone. Terminate the short line in a loop or on a ring.
    YMMV

Would not worry about it I put mine in because ENO does not know how to make decent hammocks and thinks sags are bad.

Well one thing that hasn't been said yet, if it has a net which I am sure it does, don't lengthen the rl at all. If you do you risk ripping the mossie netting and rendering it useless. Shorten with netting ok, lengthen very bad...
