    Tx>Goodwater loop>April 5,6 and 7

Me and a few guys were looking at doing this trail... It's a 26-28 mile trail depending on which map you read...

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&r...eorgetown+loop

On that search the first link is the map, the following was just some related articles...

The idea is show up between 10-12 on Friday hike a good ways (5-10 miles) set camp, Saturday hike 8-12 miles... Sunday finish what's left... This is just all roughed in as you can see... We are keeping it flexible for now to see what everyone's schedule is and what works for most people...

I'm thinking meeting at the Overlook Trailhead and head quarters and hiking counter clicker wise...

I wouldn't worry about it. Let's just have a good time. Don't get Sarge involved in the planning or it will be a mess

    Love ya Sarge!

Only problem I see is this note on the CoE Map:

"Camp only at Cedar Hollow, Sawyer, Walnut Springs, or Tejas Camps."

    So, no on trail camping.

Cedar Hollow at about the 4 1/2 mile point does conform to the "hike in 5 miles and set up" but after that the only choice for Saturday is Walnut Springs is 11 miles.

All of that is doable, but what about campsite availability?

    Ach.

More snark than anything else, although a call to the CoE would be a good idea.

Sending this to Rat. I would bet that he might want to make a go with this too.
