- 395g of Primaloft One Insulation Distributed (may be more in size XL) Only 303g of P1 in the Patagucci Das Parka which is triple the cost, same-ish weight, less insulation.
- Weight is 30oz for size XL.
- This is an extreme cold weather belay jacket.

I picked this up a while back and it is too big. I'm generally a size Large but bought the XL to accomodate layers. It seems they have already done this with their standard design.

You probably won't find a better deal on a jacket of this quality.

Americans might not have heard of MEC. It's sort of our version of REI. They have some great quality products for noticeably less than similar brand names products and do a good job improving products based on customer comments. The majority of my camping clothes is from there.

Thanks for the words. MEC does have very nice stuff, much better than REI in my opinion. They are innovators most definitely.
I can't exchange this because they ran out of stock.
