    Welcome.

Competition spurs innovation, keeps quality high, and serves to keep prices down, particularly in growing niche markets served by a limited number of cottage vendors like the hammock community.

I see several interesting innovations in your product. You have taken a sleep/shelter system that is already highly adaptable because of its modularity and have made it even more modular.

I would make this suggestion: Post some information regarding the wieght of each component as well as the temperature rating of your insulation system.

Will there be discounts for package purchases and other options?

Where do I get a hat like that?

I think you and Shug shop in the same haberdashery.

Not spamming IMO. I've seen lots of folks use Kickstarter. Good luck in your venture!

I agree that the modularity is way cool. Post weights and a little clearer pics.

Interesting video. It looks a lot like the DangerBird from Dream Hammock to me.

    Cheers

ARE you licensed, insured and bonded in your home state? Do you have a tax identification number for your company? Do you have a contract written up by an attorney for people interesting in funding your venture?

What's with the inquisition? According to their website, they're incorporated in North Carolina. Also, read the terms and things like that on Kickstarter and you'll find the information you're looking for regarding people interested in funding.

I think this is a great idea! I look forward to seeing more of these hammocks, and seeing a review once somebody gets their hands on one!

Yeah, this isn't spam at all. It's a hammock product that is being launched...and hammocks are the focus of the site. Survivalen is representing VersaShelter here, and is doing so within all the vendor rules.

Interesting new concept Len. We look forward to seeing how it evolves.

I for one like it. I think he was professional and he has done his homework on gear. He may not have been with us for long but I accept him as a brother into my hammock family. Welcome to the forums from guam and now I have to talk my wife into letting me buy something else...as soon as technical specs are up.

Btw I love the modularity of your system. Any plans to use different materials at any point in time such as lighter weight nylon, double layer, down quilts etc? The more you can tell us, the better your business will be. All the more we know about you and your product, the more we will spend. Your activity here will give you a boost towards success of this product. Good luck with everything!
