You said I was not a "regular" and leave me off the list? I didn't realize we had that many there. Wow! I had a great time even though it got colder than I ever figured I'd camp. I'll try to get some of the hiking pics up this evening.

We had a great time as usual. The weather was awesome to check out how your gear would hold up to it. I was using a HG top and underquilt bottom rated at 20° and slept nice and warm. Hamhocker slept really warm with a HG 0° bottom quilt and JRB Old Rag Mountain 5-10° top quilt.

I took a few pics and will try to get them up this evening

Had a great time. Sure was a lot of folks crazy enough to be out in that cold. We're southners, Shug and crew may hang in negative temps, 14* is plenty cold for us

Thanks Leeinmemphis for the loan of the top cover. Hope you get everything worked out on your bridge. Get some down booties for your feet as Turtle2 suggested.

Great food, awesome people, and good times
I'll see ya'll at the next hang.

I also want to let you guys know what a bad influence you are lol......when I got home I ordered a down jacket on clearance at REI and some of the foot boots that a couple of you had.

If the Memphis area guys don't mind pm me your name and I'll add you guys on FB so maybe we can hook up some.....in case anyone is interested.

My sons set up WBBB with superfly

My set up for the first night WB Cloud

First time out in the WBRR......ended up having to swap out to a BB due to spreader bar failure.

Yes I was freezing at this point. Think it was somewhere in the 20* neighborhood this morning.

Everyone huddled around a couple of fire rings....

My son was wore out on the way home

Every hang is very informational for me. This particular hang I learned that I needed to invest in some down items(jacket/booties) and get more organized for my set ups. I am REALLY interested in trying to do some backpacking and hope to maybe get together with some of the locals to do some. The WBRR is unquestionably the best laying/fitting hammock for me.
can we get more information on the spreader bar failure.

Plenty cold enough for sure! But I'm glad the low temps showed up; it really seems as though most everyone was prepared for those kind of temps at the low end, and managed to sleep well. Good thing is, now I know how much trust I can put in my gear, and as a bonus came away with a couple of ideas on how to improve the set-up's overall performance.
