We are going to suspend the poll temporarily, until more info becomes available. Until then, please post your opinions on the HF flag here.

I should like a banner, and as I usually hammock on canoe trips the material is immaterial. Not interested in a bandana though.

Yeah, we should probably pull back a bit on trying to narrow this down until we get answers from all the different flag manufacturers about what exactly they can provide and for how much.

I'll convert too if that's the only real option. Is it?

I might make a nice big flag since I have hunter orange dwr ripstop and also black ripstop. This will be a large flag, not what your looking to make here.

I would buy one or more when they are ready.

    Update

Screen printer has contacted a vendor who can supply 1.9 ripstop flags. If they have one with the right color for the background, our wish will be granted!

    Ok, it's not 1.9 ripstop...

One wholesale supplier has "1.9 ripstop" on their web site, but none of the flag makers have it.

We're getting samples to try to match the background color. The samples are "200 denier solar match protected nylon."

Turns out the screen printing process doesn't work well on extremely thin materials anyway, especially if you want to print on both sides.

Turns out the dye printing process doesn't work well for flags with text, because it goes all the way through the fabric. To make a flag with text, you have to sew two flags together.
