I get N39. 4.2239' and W86. 13.2519' on my Delorme mapping software. You sure the GPS coordinates are the same as last year?

Pate Hollow Trail is by Paynetown so I'm guessing Pate Hollow may be over that way as well. So no, Brown Hollow is a fair distance away.
Zoom out on the map in the link and there are markers for both Pate Hollow Trail and Nebo Ridge Trail where Brown Hollow is located.
Gonna play it by ear. There's a chance that I may make it out for at least one night. We shall see.
If I can come up with a definite plan relatively soon, I'll let you all know. My route from Akron, OH will take me through Columbus and Cincinnati, so there may be a possibility of coordinating transportation with other Ohioans to save on gas money if I can make it.

It would be so good to see you, Salamander42...
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
It would be great to see you all too, Mule! It's been well over a year since my last backpacking trip and I miss it like you wouldn't believe!

Dagnabit. . . I double checked the dates today and we've already got a family dinner obligation for that weekend, so no Hoosier Hang for me.
I'm heading out for a solo trip this week though. . . I'm hoping I can finish a painting project I'm working on early enough to head out tomorrow. And I'll be looking to head out to some of the Ohio get-togethers in the near future. AND I recently realized that the Allegheny National Forest is only about 3 hours from where I'm living now, so I'm predicting some trips to PA in the near future. I'll always have a spot in my heart for Hoosier National though, and I'll try to get back to visit as often as I can. Hope to be able to make it to the Hoosier Hang next year.
