But I am still looking forward to it
The thing to remember is slow is good. The slower you go the more you will see and remember of the hike. We all were slow at one point and I am still slower than most. See you soon.

The red and white tape Mule put up on the trees right off the path really helped me out. Thanks Mule!! I wish I could have caught up with you; I think I just missed you by a few minutes.
Markr6, I am sorry I missed you too. I think I left the valley bushwhacking North about 4 or 4:30. I met up with the Hoosier Backpackers on top of the ridge at the large pond. They were all on a day hike when I got there so I put up my hammock and tarp and then after meeting all of them and chatting a bit I packed up and came home last night. I have camped every weekend for three weekend and will be camping this on too.
    See you this weekend.

As you all know by now, Brandon and Gabe build a huge long fire pit for us this year. Gabe suggested I mention that it would be good for you to bring a chair. In fact I am thinking about carrying in a large heavy one. We can all get around the fire better with stools or chairs. I am getting anxious to see you all.

I know, I know. I do work three days a week but only half days, and it's all I can take. I actually enjoy it. If it were not for the drive i would go hiking even more than I do. This week I came home early but had to exchange something at the Rusted Moon so drove back down there today, then over to Anderson to give my son Jim some things. 450 mile so far since Friday. Darn.

My hopes are up. I hope there are several scores of mushroom troves.

I'd like to see a number of hammock chairs for selection in the auction. Just a suggestions... something with a small suspension footprint. Perhaps the whole rig will weigh about 3oz.

    Come on...
