I was thinkin about how I was gonna take the long way in this time, I may hike in from the Grubb Ridge parking area. I feel like I'm cheatin if I hike less than a couple miles to camp! Are you bringing Butters?

I was thinking about getting a little more hiking in on the way in as well. Another option is to take the Sycamore loop in the long way (Clockwise) it looks to be about 6 miles.

I am planning to get there Friday morning sometime, when do you expect to arrive?

I might bring Butters.

Fish. Its a pretty popular around here. Great for eating. I personally prefer bluegill.

Are the morels usually up that time of year in that area? Seems like there has been good moisture this winter and if it warms up, it could be a great spring for them.

A very delicious fish that is also fun to catch. I normally put a couple of hundred filleted in my freezer for the year to eat later! As well as bluegills, cats, and walleyes.

Mushrooms are going to be late this year because of cold weather. The ground needs to be alot warmer and i really like to see a couple of humid nites even with a thundershower or 2. Needs to get alot warmer. What we deifinitely don't need is it to get hot and stay hot, like it did last year. Bad for the shrooms!
