Sounds good Mule. With the rain, I might even bring the big orange flare!
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.
I am on my way. See you all there.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
I'd say you're probably better off with too much rather than too little insulation. I've never camped in the exact spot where the hang is, but I've hiked the Syamore loop probably a dozen times or more. . . It's not a very long hike in, so a little extra weight/bulk probably won't be too big of a deal.
I wish I could join you all. I'm gonna have to make it a priority for next year.

OK, the plan was to leave around 0900 today.
Got headache (Migraine is a 10 of 10, this was a 7.5 of 10) Tuesday (planned packing day) so no bending over or moving much & minimal light & sound means no packing.
Wednesday PM, discovered my GPS had been stolen. Spent hours looking for it in case it was lost not took. So no packing AND no GPS.
Just finished packing*, now I need,,,, that's: NEED! a shower. Soon as that's done & after I fix whatever else WILL go wrong, I'm heading out!

I do hope the weather don't scare any one away. Should be a nice weekend at a nice place!
*Much of my hiking gear was unpacked & stowed Tuesday after the "incident" at MRHO, so I couldn't member where it were.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
