    I tried it the other day with the added wraps that someone suggested. It worked great. I had eight foot cords and didn't need four feet on either side of my hammock so, as was also suggested, simply retied the knots further in. I hung for a couple hours and didn't end up on the ground. I'm sure I will upgrade to whoopies at some point, I think they'll just be easier (the knots do tend to get pretty tight and difficult to move), but for the time being, this works great.
