Still in. If somebody(s) can bring a spare underquilt that I can try, I'd be mighty appreciative. I won't need it, I just want to try one out before I drop the $$$ on a one.
I will have some spare gear as well. A Tenkara Guide friend will be joining and will be hanging for the first time. So I'm bringing some demo gear for him and will have spares as well.

One Week till the hang. What needs planned still?
We have the campsite.
We have gear for everyone.
I am figuring on bringing food for me and my boy but we could bring stuff to share if we wanted to do a potluck night.
I still need to get on UDFW and get a fishing license. I am assuming at 9 the boy does not need one? Muse?
When will everyone be getting in? I am figuring on leaving here about midnight next thursday AM. That should put us at the campground around noon thursday...plenty of time to hit a lake or two.

I'm planning on leaving Friday morning, I should make the campsite by early afternoon. I think it would be cool to do a potluck night, I can see if I can't round up something fairly edible to share.
Paul, are you hosting a fishing workshop? I'd be curious to find out how this Tenkara thing works.
Other than that, the talk is for some day hikes around the area, anything else?
Anything I would need to pack outside of the ordinary?
I will absolutely be bringing plenty of Tenkara gear as will the Guide thats coming I am sure. We can do some demo's for any one that wants. Probably not as formal as a workshop but anyone that wants can get out and catch some fish....get a license.
There are several lakes in the area that are one to two mile hikes that I want to fish so day hikes will be a must.

PG, 12+ need a license. Your boy is safe for now.
Are you stopping when you get in town or just staying on the freeway and heading south? If you are stopping in the area for breakfast, I will meet you. If not, I will see you in Escalante.
I was planning on bringing steaks, but I can turn that in to tri tip for the group if we do a potluck. Other than that, I haven't done much planning for this trip. My boy and I are heading out tomorrow, so we will make menu adjustments after that.
"I'm a connoisseur of BACON." - Anyways - 6/9/13
We can stop, we will need gas and grub. Rob asked to meet up on our way through too. It will be early. Hope to clear the city before morning trafic.
