@scottymac, have you done much hanging up in Tooele/Grantsville? I have ground camped up in Settlement, South Willow and Middle Canyons and there appear to be an abundance of trees. Seems to me like a good place to hang!

Im good either way. I am getting back into shape so hike in would have to be fairly mild. Say under 2 or 3 miles each way.

"Car" camp, accessible via paved roads, short sections of graded dirt acceptable.
What about somewhere in/around Flaming Gorge? That way the folks who must always get an oar in can do so....
