Well...let's shore this puppy up a bit, shall we?

Let's call it...April 5-7th, Perry Lake. Meet Friday afternoon/evening at the trailhead/parking for the 2E section, and do a short hike in from there?

Momma gave me the go ahead last night...so I'm a gonna be there.

We want to make it official, and start an attendee list?

I fly home around 2:30 pm and if I get on the road by 4 pm I will be at the trailhead around 8 pm on Friday night and then I can night hike in to find you guys. I am game!

That weekend works for me. I think I will be minus Trailboss on this one so we will need to be trusted to be on our best

Hey guys,

I'm new to the boards. I am glad to see so many "hangers" from the Kansas City area. Great find on this Perry Lake trail. I had no idea they allowed primitive camping over there. I would love to join you, but won't be able to this time. I have a trip to Arkansas scheduled the week after and I don't think my wife would appreciate it if I was gone two weekends in a row. Good luck out there, and again, great find!

So, in prep for this trip, I ordered me an REI FlexLite chair to carry in with me, vs my five pound sporting good's store chain special. Chair came in on Tuesday, and I think I'm gonna like it.

Fired up the dehydrator to make sure I had plenty of my chicken and veggies...

I'm looking forward to this trip. Gonna miss Weasel...but will be good to see you folks out there, and nice to do a bit of hiking along with the camping.
