    Thanks Ramen!!!

Gotta say that it's really cool that she's going to have the water turned on for us, and have the sheriff/rangers keep an eye on our vehicles.

I'm going to TRY to be onsite in the parking lot area around 3 as well, but it may be a little problematical.

We have an ETA for any of the other folks? Maybe plan on meeting up around 3 or so for those that live here in the area?
I should be in parking area around 7 pm. you guys will be about 1 1/2 down the trail then? keep the light on, I will be there - Thanks

Looks like they moved the rain chance from sat to sun morning starting at 7 AM. Remember your dry bags and rain gear folks!

This is Kansas. There is only a 10% chance....of the forecast being accurate. lol Don't forget swimsuits and snowshoes as well.

OK, so to firm things up a bit. Looks like most of us that are here in the general area are going to try to meet in the parking lot onsite around 3pm on Friday.

We'll go ahead and move on in, find us a decent spot for the crew, and setup camp.

Once we've found a spot we like, we'll send someone back to the trail (remember we're supposed to be about 200ft off trail) with some pink or orange trail marking tape, and hang it as conspicuously as we can so that folks coming in Friday night can find it.

If you're there late Friday or early Saturday and come by the tape, shout out a loud "Whoo buddy!"...if we're still at the site we should be able to hear you and guide you in.

Otherwise we'll probably break down and hike on in to the next site around midday on Saturday, where we'll repeat the process with the orange/pink trail tape.

Don't forget...bring trail chow to keep yourself happy, and either carry plenty of water or plan on working with those of us who are bringing in filters/steripens. Rain gear will be warranted as it's looking a little wet possibly on Sat night/Sun morning.

I have no idea if there'll be fire rings available in the areas we're camping/setting up, so I personally plan on using a stove for my meals.

    Looking forward to this one!

Sorry guys, but I'm out. Family issues at the last minute. I'm bummed.

    Have fun without me.
