    WWM advice

Hey guys. I've had a hard time getting to sleep in my Hennessy the fist few nights and I'm looking for another hammock with the hopes of being more comfortable. I think the biggest issue is the suspension. I've just been tying the HH knots and they offer zero adjustment. Makes set up pretty difficult.

So I'm looking at getting a Bias WWM DL with a good suspension. Not really sure what all I should order to make it easy to set up. What is the best way to go?

Also not sure what I should get for width. I'm 5' 11" and 260. I'd like to get this figured out and get her ordered. Thanks for any help folks!

Why not try changing out the Hennessey suspension first?

How about you try converting you HH to a different suspension first? Get som whoopie slings and webbing and you'll have all the adjustability you need. Dutchware sells whoopies with longer fixed eyes specifically for the HH and there is a sticky thread in the suspension forum showing one way to do the modification. This will allow you to figure out how to tweak your suspension to where you like it before you buy other hammocks. Just a thought.

I love the comfort of my WWM dbl. I have the 56" width and really like it. I use Dutch Buckles on my tree straps instead of the Marlin Spike. They are easy to adjust and the whoopies go over the buckle and stay in place with no trouble or worry. Whoopie hooks attach the suspension to the hammock and help act as a drip guard in bad weather. I have several hammocks to choose from but this is my all time favorite and most comfortable set of gear.

BIAS has the whoopies and hooks but the buckles came from Dutch. You can order it all from dutch and if you get the tree straps from them they will attach the buckles for you. You can get the whoopie hooks already attached at ether the fix end or the adjustable end and they will be at your door in a few days from ordering, great service from both companies.

If you go with Whoopie hook suspension most people invert the whoopies, then you don't need Dutch buckles.
