I....had...no....Idea.....
The BB just came in a few hours ago, and I am taking a break from it to say a whole hearted thank you to Brandon.
Honestly...... I mean I knew it was going to like it, but WOW,.....
I don't even know what to say, and thats somethin!
I appreciate the instructions you sent, although the only part that I hadn't studied to death was about putting weight on the shelf. Good to know.
Had the biners already, slapped em on strung it up and got 'er in one.
no issues at all. I was a little curious about the "knee ridge" as I get it in my HH safari, but there weren't none.
Thanks again WBG
I agree - Very impressed and happy with the warbonnet.
glad you like it.
I hung out in it last night in my back yard, and it was great.
I only have the HH safari to compare to really but here's what I thought for what it's worth.
I love the look of this hammock, but looks are hard to compare 'cause I also think that hennessy's are one of the slickest looking hammocks out there.
I didn't mind the bottom entry on th HH but, well If I had the option.... Bottom entry is very cool if you dont need anything else in there with you, IMHumbleO.
Although the Blackbird is spacious, it is smaller than my Safari. I like that. plenty of room side to side and length ways as well. I do kinda miss being able to stand up and having to jump to touch the ridgeline in my safari though.
The first and most important thing I notice is that I am almost immediately comfortable any which way I lay in it. In my safari it took a while to find the sweet spot nearly every time I used it. And I really only ever could find the one really nice spot on the diagonal, and one sort of spot straight with feet to each side of center. It doesn't seem to matter where I lay in the BB it's all good. Much flatter.
Loving the double bottom for putting my frankinsultion in.
Set up is silly easy. Although I imagine that if I used the straps on the safari it would be easy too. Didn't really use the shelf but was thinking of all the cool stuff I can put in there. And I admit that I defended my HH's ability to be used as lounger/chair but there is no contest at all.
Yeah it's a keeper.
And I apologize for another HH comparison but it's what I know. I will have to try my buddies Crazy crib lex next, but I don't wanna get outta my Warbonnet
