Has anybody heard of or used this vendor? I have been coming on here for a while and researching gear for a while and came across their site. Never heard of it. Just wondering if they are legit

I haven't heard of them...
But running through their site I see a few interesting designs... Like using non breathable fabrics on the inside of an under quilt and justifying it by saying it is warmer... Their prices are decent on some things and nuts on other... $100 for a hammock with no suspension... And 50x110 is a little small for a hammock especially at that price point...
But hey hang your own hang... Buy some stuff and give us your thoughts after some testing...

He's one of the guys on the forums. I haven't purchased anything from him but he does have a neat tarp that's cuben and sil... He's a good guy just trying to supplement his income.

My forum name is Fish<><; I'm in the navy; and I hate sleeping on the ground. If I didn't need ground to walk on or measure resistance to, I think I could happily give it up.
I met Dave at the Hoosier hang a few years ago. seems to be a nice guy. I was under the impression that he stopped making gear, but maybe he's back in business again.
He does have some interesting designs.
I bought the .5oz bugnet from them...it was too fragile for me. I ripped it the first night while sleeping. For the price, it was worth trying
Thanks for the info, fellow hangers! I might give his hammock a shot
I have the DP Heeter Hybrid hammock with UQ that I got for half price in a special he had. I used it a couple times, and like how lightweight it is, but it is a bit narrow and I haven't used it lately. I may get it out this weekend and try it out again. It is good down to 55* per the website. I'm not a fan of the hammock material, it seems hard to me.

I have been using one of Dave's UQ on my indoor hammock for about 18 months. I keep the house kinda cool in the winter and this UQ is great, for me, down to around low to mid50's. It is a pretty tough quilt too; I have 2 dogs that like to play "rock the hammock" when the alarm clock goes off.
I did not know DP was back in business; I might check it out.
