Surprisingly, the wife was ok with this. Now if I just had the hammock.

I always make it a point to remind my wife that she knew I was nuts before she married me, I was very open and honest about my insanity, so any complaint about ny insanity this far in the marriage is null and void...

I tell my wife all the time that she agreed to it with the unspoken, but implied part of "I do". "I do.... agree to put up with all your insanity" this goes both ways of course.

my wife said thats why she loved me when we were dating, however after she got the DEED to me I can't be nuts. After 30 + years of marriage, I have found that she is nuts everyday.

I must be lucky. My girl only got upset that I didnt put eye bolts in the living room for her hammock too!

I'm a lucky guy, rarely get reined in about anything. When I return from camping I put the tent up in the front room. Leave it up a couple of days to a week, hang tarps all over the place too.

I had a rolled up 3'x15' carpet scrap to cut and use as an interior floor mat in bad weather. She saw it and wanted to know what it was for. She seemed worried? So I told her it was for what she thought it was for. She thought it was for bringing a motorcycle in the house to work on. I promised I wouldn't open the fuel system in the house and she relaxed. Until then I hadn't even considered bringing in a bike.
