I've put in for vaca time, giving me time to dawdle there and back, but not too long. I'm committed to riding the motorcycle, which will convince me to get waterproof boots and raingear that is suitable for warm weather too.

I won't have much room to arrive with provisions, but I can make a run or two once I've set up camp. Think of some things that I can contribute that aren't impossible to carry on a bike.

Oh, I'm not as bold as Paul, I'll be on a bigger machine than he was on last year! His nickname should be something like Braveheart (I didn't see the movie of that name so don't apply any connotations that name may have from it, unless it fits in a most positive and generous manner!).

Will there be TShirts? Put me down for an XL if so!!!

    Canardly wait

Hmmmm.... I can think of a few other nicknames that have been tossed my way as a result of my 2400+ mile trip on the scooter, some not very flattering. Then I ask what they did last summer for a road trip or how many miles they put on their bike last year and it gets a little quiet....

That's cuz most of the miles are on their trailer!

I did 4000 miles on 1000cc and I still felt it....
