    we use dead man anchors in the sand, basically a 1.5' 2x4 buried 2' down.

    When I use my Wrangler with a Hard Top I leave the door open and tie on to the roll cage. I can only get a good sleep on the level. Most of those pics look uncomfortable to me. All of my vehicles have lift kits so tying to the roll cage or rack works best for me. That one pic of the hammock tied to the side mirror I don't see that working well on most vehicles.

    yeah, most of those hangs only look good for napping, not for a long night. It's nice to see the varied ways to get a hang though!

    At the beach you would think the skeeters would stay out in the fields instead of the beach. They only hunker down behind any wind break. Jeep Tent hammock cooler chair. I hate having to reapply skeeter spray.
