Will that stuff hold up?
I coated a cracked machete handle with it about 15 years ago and it has held up very well. Have not used it for feet but if you have the PVC cap on there to give some area to the floor contact points, it should work well.
Thanks. I'll see what I can find. Still curious aboth the slip/male end tho.
That was not a poke at you. Just still curious is all. Ill find some stock pics.

These tips are what I have. Couldnt find anything larger to fit on the female end of the pole to prevent damage to floor, and help with slippage, although I have spread limiters too.
Those fit tight on the silver, male end. My bigger question, though, is whether I should drill and bolt through the end where it is pressed in, or if it may hold me on a long term basis. I know, HYOH. I'll check to see if I can find a PVC cap that'll fit, and then plasti dip it, so this is probably academic anyway.
I have one side of my TDS on a smooth surface and use pieces of yoga mat under each foot to prevent slipping. Each piece is attached to the foot via shock cord (so they can be removed easily). It's not elegant but it works well - maybe this will give you some sort of further inspiration.
Duh...Now I get it. I was thinking male and female ends on the rubber tips and couldn't figure out what style you were using.
I would be surprised if the inserts slipped. I would try it out before I went to the trouble of drilling.
