    Smile Greetings from Central Mass

I figure it's time to introduce myself.

I've loved the outdoors all my life. But, now that I am in my early 50's I'm looking for a lighter and more comfortable camping experience. I've been lurking here for a while sucking up the knowledge. I finally took the plunge and ordered a Warbonnet Blackbird 1.7 SL, a Hammock Gear Phoenix 20* under quilt, a Burrow 20* top quilt and a Hammock Gear Standard Cuben Fiber tarp.

I'm sure I'll be posting questions here as I get my system dialed in. Who knows, you just might run into me hanging out in the woods (pun intended).

Hello from way down here in Leominster, let me know if I can be of any help. Have you considered hanging at Muddy Pond?
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

    Welcome, Dude!

You've got some great gear there.

Thanks. Muddy Pond might be a good place for my first hang.

Welcome from the Jersey Shore. I used to live in Acton (and Allston, Boston, Jamaica Plain, Upton as well). I've pretty much got the same setup as you (minus the WBBB), though I recently upgraded to the HG Winter Palace for a bit more coverage, and I got an HG 0* Incubator for those colder nights too.

The only difference is that I didn't buy my setup all at once like - took a couple of years to sneak that many big-ticket purchases by the watchful eye of my wife!
