Has anyone added a pocket to a ridgeline

Hennessey - the ridgeline pocket is sort of small and hard to access . Has any made a gear loft - it does not have to be big enough to hold the whole six pack - but a couple would be nice. Lol. Really is there a good myog option that someone can suggest? thanks hooty

I think 2Questions has a long gear pocket in his gallery that's good for ridgelines or hammock supports. Also google "cot organizer" and adapt that idea.

Vid... "We Don't Sew... We Make Gear! Afterthought" Check out that idea and see if it is adaptable for you.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I've had ZQ make this type of ridgeline pocket organizer which I really like. The idea was to hold car keys, wallet, mp3 player, watch, headlamp, etc. We haven't officially offered these for sale on the forum yet, but there has been several requests that will get us going on them. We will probably offer two designs, one that is attached via snaps or velcro and one sewn on, available for those who send us their HH for zipper modifications.

I'll post when we're ready to start producing them.

I made something similar (a single pocket) out of white mesh for my pop-up camper. The mesh lets us see what's inside, and was cheap at the dollar store in the form of lingerie washing bags.

Yep, I got those too. I really like the loop top that stays open (like a HH snake skin). Makes looking & reaching in easy.

I plan to add a second hang loop so it doesn't spin like it can w/ just one.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

I use an ordinary zip lock plastic bag, usually left open. Hang from a corner with a piece of string. cheap, light, see thru. never buy what you already have in your kitchen! gnome

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I just use a small plastic bag and a small aluminum carabiner from walmart It holds my headlamp, glasses and a book easily. The same bag has lasted for a month of camping.

When it's time to sleep, I throw it over the side and slide it toward the head of the hammock.

I've always meant to sew up a small bag from scraps, but never got a round tuit.
