How crucial are the pull outs?
How crucial are the pull outs?
There are two rules for success:
1. Never tell everything you know.
Go with the blemish from WB. My BB is a blemish and I can't even tell. Same great products for less $.
Depends, but on a big tarp they're probably needed more. I have a Toxaway without them, but bought some JRB clips to use for pullouts. I only spot use them and have found I really only needed 1 to keep from one windward side from blowing in on me. I typically porch the other side, but if I wanted to really pull it down on me, then I'd use 2 pullouts on that side to get in and out and exit from under the tarp. You could even argue that having movable/removable pull outs is a bonus.
Having hung with someone who has a BMJ (dig camo is sweet!), I would like to point out a difference and my preference... the Tox is longer, but the cat cuts are more aggressive - I believe the tie out loops on the BMJ are wider apart than those on my Tox. I would even say the BMJ is close to a straight hex tarp. I prefer the longer tarp, and I also prefer the more narrow stake out points of the Tox. However, in terms of coverage, I don't think you can say the 12' Tox is really much better if at all than the BMJ. I like to see out and the Tox affords a little more of that for me.
I went through the same buying process last year and the AHE sale on the Tox reeled me in! WB blem is probably similar savings, and of course, you wouldn't have to wait very long for it.
