You are making Whoopies from Zing It? Interesting Choice. I am not sure I would do that. To be certain someone with more experience will chime in here.

    Whoopies on Eno

I got 7/64 amsteel whoopies and tree straps from JRB, and looped twice through the ends of my DN like Theosus suggested. I use a marlin spike hitch with aluminum toggles. Works great.

Later I took it apart to remove the ridgeline and I put it back together looping once only. Still works fine.

I like the whoopies because of adjustability but also for the reduced bulk. I didn't think the ridgeline added anything though.

Definetly much lighter. Much less bulk. All that i can't get it the hammock stuff sack is the tree straps, but with smaller webbing i'm sure it can be done. Everything could possibly be in one bag.
