Excellent! You'll be all set up and enjoying the evening.
The trail is pretty easy to follow, except for the unofficial side trails that skitter off from time to time. I'll put some markers up to keep everyone on the path.

For those of us coming in early, should we be at the Suspension Bridge lot by 9 or waiting at the trailhead by 9? Sorry I was a little unclear on that

Be at the Suspension Bridge at 9. We'll leave most of our cars there, so be sure you have everything you need for the weekend before heading out. Looking forward to meeting you.

    Red River Gorge March 22-24

I was checking out the area today. Why not: WX was great!

Inside it halfway up the staircase and decided I wanted to find the other way in! We went to Princess Arch and that's the way I'm coming in!

This tree mark is where the cut off up to the staircase is:

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362962721.523718.jpg

For anyone who might be using a GPS, the cutoff coordinates to the staircase are:

    UTM
    17 S 0269954
    4191531

    Lat Lon
    37* 50.744'
    083* 36.863'

We encountered two other forum members on our trek. Forgive me but I'm awful with names. Unfortunately, they said they were not going to he able to make it.

    Ok, that's all for now...

...Should be "I made it halfway up the staircase." Fat-fingering the iPhone keyboard.
