Scooterdogma & I are meeting at the Rest Stop near there around 2-ish on Fri if ya wanna wait that late.

I'm not sure where the rest area is, but that sounds fine to me. Is on the Mt Parkway? I'll be coming from the East through Prestonsurg

Its the same exit as the Shell Station, Exit 33 on the Pkwy.

Hi Everyone, how's the packing coming? Thought I'd share the latest forecast from weather.com

Looks like we'll have 2 nice days between weather systems! We can enjoy the scenery and get some hikes in Fri and Sat. Good campfire weather. Better pack the raincoat for the walk out Sunday.

Fri- 44/32 Partly sunny, winds SSE @5, 10% precip.
Sat- 50/39 Partly sunny, winds ENE @ 7, 10% precip turning cloudy overnight.
Sun- 49/30 Showers, winds SSE@11, 70% precip.
