Things to consider
Are you a car camper...then weight is not an issue and the Old Man Winter Tarp by Wilderness Logics would be a great tarp for you.
Are you a back packer... then weight is an issue....if you have the $$$ then consider a cuben tarp like the Winter Palace from HammockGear. The 12ft version weighs in at 8 oz
