Thanks for the thought. I really hope to make one of these "hangs" and share in the hearty fellowship and Brother/Sisterhood....

Better to have bailed early then make extra work for the medics among us. I'm getting a Underquilt from JRB for my birthday next month from my family, so with that and my down bag as a quilt I'll be ready for Hot Springs. Just need a SWT now and I think I'm getting one of those here very soon.
Glad to hear that you had people w/ you. Darby may have told me that & I just forgot... what was it they said would be the first thing to go when I hit 50???
Hope we'll see you at Hot Springs.

    Ponies!!!!1!

I'd like to say thanks to everyone for a great weekend. I got to meet new people and go new places, doesn't get better than that ... oh, unless the people are all sharing knowledge and gear and lots and LOTS of food and fun.

And especially thanks to Pan, Smee and NotToWorry for the raffle. Oh, and thanks Patrick for letting me rub your head, it WORKED!

And thanks to Sparrow and Slowhike for their patience (PONIES!)

I'm gonna put some of these in the gallery here soon, but for now I've got pics up here. Don't miss JD vs the HippyPony!

Slowhike and I were really both out of practice and cold fingers. Someday we may actually play a tune. Thanks for the kudos, Mule

Kinda late checking in, but I had a TERRIFIC time at this years hang out. It was really nice to see old friends and nice to meet new ones.

I did manage to shoot some video on this trip. Stay tuned for a interview with Pan and Smee, interview with Ed Speer plus Ed talking about using vapor barriers in a hammock system, a few people talking about their setups, and some highlights from the trip. I hope to have the vids posted by this weekend. I'll get some pics up soon.
