Exactly what disappointed you on the Kelty Noah? I started off with a Noah 9 and it was bomb proof construction and very well seam sealed at all points. As long as I set it up low and not too high I was always dry in the worse of storms.

Just received mine and they all appear to be sewn better and the first once over does not show daylight at random places.

I got the camo ones.

They have been out of stock on the camo version for the past few years but since they have them back in stock again I ordered one.

I hope you will do a full report Gunner. If they are the good tarps again like they use to be it could save a lot of new folks some start-up cash.

The material does feel different than last year's. I still had one I have not taken out in the wild that has remained in the stuff sack.

I think perhaps it was coated correctly this time. I am going to setup this weekend and snap some shots of the seams, tie outs and the sewing that they have done this time.

That sounds good. The ones last year were obviously from a sloppy batch or a bad manufacturer. Maybe after so many complaints they tightened up their quality control.

Yes, I have used last year's tarp in diamond config for my HH Explorer. lots of coverage. My son has also used on on his too. Lots of coverage to keep gear dry too.
