Their only posts were in the "for sale" section. I would be nervous making a transaction with that account anyway. Not saying the person isn't trustworthy, but not sure I'd chance it. I really like to sell to/ by from people who are established members of the community.

Wow! I am surprised by the lack of welcoming nature from this thread. Yes I am new this forum, you all started here at some point as well.

I staked a claim on the item per forum rules. But after a pm I simply decided that it was not worth the $5 savings to purchase the item used. This is the first item I have not purchased.

No disrespect intended. Buying and selling on a forum has a level of uncertainty and people have been hoodwinked in the past. An account with few posts all in one section would put up a red flag, was all I was saying. See following quote from my post:

In a few days I'll be posting a Black Rock Hat for sale at $125 - in case anyone wants to strip me of the title of 'Most Expensive Black Rock Hat'.

Surely somebody will want to 'one up' me...??
