His user profile lists a JRB 11x10. I don't remember what tarp he had, either, though.

Examples of JRB's Tarps at Mt Rogers

I think the two pics below are the Jack's ...

This is my Friday night (windy night) JRB set-up at Mt. Rogers. I have a DIY Bridge with 36" spreaders. By closing the front and hanging low... this set-up worked great.

    IndyDan,

Thanks for the pictures. Your right the top noe is Pan and the second one is Smee.

    Dgrav,

The top one is pitched in the modified Baker Lean to, with the front corners pulled down a little.... You can see much better open side coverageprobably a 1-15 inch clearance beyound the hammoch.... And it could be lowered for even more protection if necessay...

The piece of silnyl on the right side is an early separable end panel... worked fine, will get some rework for better fit anf more flexibility of design....Turns the Baker lean to to a baker style AT Shelter, sides and all....

Jack, you make a lot of nice gear!

I like your custom camo shell coat best.

I need to figure this out. . . . . . I thought there was only 5 tie outs per side (center, corners and 1 in between on each side) the middle one is the one I've used for the normal Baker setup.

    Mac,

So do I.... The 1" above the knee length keeps the whole trunk and even hiking shorts warm and dry.... Muchhhhhhh better than a standard parka length...

BTW, they are made of 3 ply milspec Goretex.... 17 oz

    Don,

That tarp has a prototype mod that we are evaluating for future production runs of the JRB 11x10 Cat tarp.... So far I'm impressed with it....If you like the idea and want your tarp moded you can mail us your tarp and a check for $10 and we can apply the mod and return it to you.

BTW someone with the moded tarp .... ....will have to be a designated tester for the optional end panels.... Interested?
