    DIY Cuben stuff sacks

Bought a kit from Yamamountain gear for 28.00. Made all these and I still have enough to make another small stuff sack and a tent stake sack. Was not to difficult either

That's really cool, I'll have to try that out too. It'll be nice having one for reference .

It comes with tape. Comes with draw string, mirco locks, cuben and tape. Like I said it was pretty easy. Then you just follow his instructions.

This kit is the berries. I have made a few stuff sacks to fit a Flex lite chair, dropping the weight of it 1.7 oz. Also made a very long stuff sack for folding buck saw. Also made one to fit my 4" x 8" Ti grill from Ruta Locura. Numerous stuff sacks to fit gear by customizing the size myself. Saving myself probably about 75 to 100 bucks if I had Zpacks make them for me as a custom sized cuben bag or stuff sack. And this website pays the shipping. Very easy to make and he as the most explicit instructions to where you can figure out and do your own. Easy as all get out for making cuben stuff sacks of any size you need.

I picked up a few yards of cuben, double and single sided cuben tape from Zpacks. Will be making some no-sew sacks myself. Thanks for the inspiration!

You can download the instructions on making these stuff sacks for ideas on Yama's website in PDF for ideas if you want. I ended up ordering twice off Yama's website spending 56.00 for so far 9 stuff sacks of various sizes and still have lots of material left over to make more.
