so is it safe to use 7/64 for a rope swing?
should I go even more then 1/8.
stuff isn't heavy and would love to show off a double backflip.
but want to make sure it's safe
it's never too early to think about spring/summer.

The 7/64ths is plenty good for whoopie slings. However, if you are doing a rope swing, I would opt for the 1/8 inch amsteel. Depending on how crazy a person gets, there can be a lot of force on a rope swing. I believe the 1/8 inch amsteel has a breaking strength of about 2500 pounds.
I'd step up to at least 1/8" for your rope swing as the dynamic forces might be higher than what we see with hammock loads.
thanks GA and smokebait
have safe
be fun
