Probably not. I'd take it out of the sack in the store, give it a shake and see if it lofts up.

very tempting would really like to hear from someone who has slept in it at lower temps. I assume that it is just bearable at the rated 32* but is it decent at say 40*?
I'm glad to see someone went for it on these bags. I've been eyeing it at wally world for the last couple of weeks, but just couldn't pull the trigger yet. certainly seems like a good deal, hope it works well for you!
There is no try, only do.
Not an issue, people do seem to over hype the potential damage done to down by long term compression, IMO. I've heard a number of stories of down being compressed long term (i.e. 10 years), either by mistake or lack of knowledge and it coming out just fine.
The truth is that the most you'll likely need to do to restore it's full loft is toss it in the dryer on no heat with a tube of fresh, clean, new tennis balls for about a half hour. This will return pretty much all the loft that may be lost from long term compression.

Any idea on the loft measurement? How is the quality of construction? Shell material?

Loft on these are not bad. I have yet to use it in the hammock but have sat out on the patio at 50 degrees and stayed plenty warm.
Has anyone verified the 1.5 lbs weight?
Is there much down leakage?

Spotted a couple of these at a nearby Walmart today. I didn't get one ($10 less online and shipped to the store - WTF ) but was impressed by how small it was. All cinched down in the compression bag it is probably nearly half the size of my JCP Jacket TQ. Materials tag says the fill weight is 7.05oz and holding it I'll definitely believe the ~1.5lb overall weight. Couldn't tell how much loft it had - peaked at it inside the bag but it was all rolled up and crammed in there so tightly if I pulled it out I wasn't sure I'd get it in again. Size and weight wise it seemed like it might be a decent choice for an entry level 2.5 season bag (not willing to believe the 32* rating).
