using Duvet Clips to secure TQ/UQs

Has anybody tried using things like these to double up their top quilts... Or anything like that?
I was wondering if you could use them to clip a space blanket to the bottom of your hammock for extra insulation, or to temporarily to double up two of the Costco down throws...

I think the tension on the hammock fabric (caused by your body weight) will pop the clips loose.

Looks like for the lack of a few bucks, we'll never know! Lol
They look like a lighter weight version of these,

    Tarp Clips

I have some of those for panel pulls on one of my tarps, plenty strong... And cheap. Would serve in this situation too, I reckon

Not so far. Took 'em off and you can't see where they've been.
