Disco; how much water are you planning on packing day 1? Your report indicates water source in the evening but what about throughout day 1?

Thanks for all your effort Disco; you've had to put in the time/work this go around!

I only carried two 20oz bottles and never ran out. I never had trouble finding water along the entire section. With the rain, I'm sure water will be plentiful at many locations over the entire length of the trail.

Awesome! I just finished baking a loaf of my soon-to-be-famous beer bread. I'll bring a few extra slices for you guys to try.

Hey guys unfortunately I don't think I'm going to make it down for this hike. So you guys be extra careful because those dry creek crossings become treacherous in heavy rains. I hope you guys have a great trip. RNGN

Sooo... I may have to work now. We have some outages that are not going away and I have no one to cover me.

I just had a Trip to Paddy Creek on the 19th-21st and took off for this one. My boss is cool with that however he is traveling and working in an area that is not close to the affected area I may have to go cover.

Will update later today if I can or can not. Waiting on someone to be on site to assist me in assessing the damages.

Well see ya all in the morning. We're heading down to the area in just a few minutes. Looking fwd to meeting you all. Hope my messed up sense of humor goes ok, my wife has warned me to keep my joking around to a minimum. Lol
I'm assuming we're meeting around the circle looking drive at Taum Sauk SP. I've never been there before so....
Anyway I'm driving a gold quad cab Dodge Ram with a big Cummins sticker in the back glass.
Btw should we bring an inflatable raft for the creek crossing after the tsunami passing through tomorrow.
