Don't know about the rest of you but I'm excited about this one. I'm a bit out of shape after the winter so this hike sounds challenging. I don't want to wimp out in front of all of you!

I think I'll be fine and it's been motivation to hit the eliptical a lot more than I had been. Pyro is groaning because he can't go; he's trying to work something out with the school (with his parents help) so who know's, maybe he'll make it!

Looking forward to meeting some new friends and hiking with the old ones!!

Thanks Disco for the work you've put into this one!

Even though my feet are just now getting back to normal, I'm already looking forward to doing this hike again. It was loads of fun with tons of cool stuff to see, so I'm anxious to see it all again with you guys.

I'm hoping for slightly warmer temps this time with a much lighter pack, too!
With beauty all around you, may you walk.

If it gets any hotter I will be able to get my pack bellow 30 lbs as I won't need an under quilt or my down Jacket

I finished my fronky winged dog bug net last night. Fits like a glove, well after having to add four inches to the length of it.

I have plans on making this trip. This will be the last summer hike I will make unless I head north (Which I have lots of plans to do so)

I have an Extended Cab truck to haul gear and people in to the starting point.

I already put in for that Friday Off. Boss Says I take to many Fridays off to hike, I reminded him he plays golf 2-3 times a week, during the week. He said Well Played.

So I expect I will be there. Hope to talk Shamen into coming.

I almost can't wait to hang out with you guys again.

Hoot looking forward to seeing you. Hope Shamen is up for it too. I just watched the video of your KC hike and wished I had the time off to have gotten to go.

This hike has got me real excited I get to test out new gear and finally finish the only hike that I have ever set out to do and not completed.

Look out Taum Sauk I will conquer you this time

Of course you will... All we have to do is stick Hairbear in the back with a cattle prod and we will make short work of that little walk in the woods.
