    Are these evazote? Or something similar?

    It's called Young Board Y-20 crossed linked polyethylene CCF. At only 1/4" thick, it's ideal for hammocks--strong, soft, & non-slipply. It does have some similarities to evazote. But there are many kinds of crossed linked polyethylene CC foams, yet this particular one is the only one I've found that's so well suited for hammocks.

    I'll concur that Ed's pads work well for hammocks. I have two of them that I've used both alone and in combination with quilts and double layer hammocks for the last 18 months or so. I really like them.
