I seriously joined here because I read a bunch of information on BushcraftUSA about hammocks and in the process of research, purchase, and more research, I came across S(h)ug's Youtube vids which really made me take the plunge wholeheartedly....
Excellent in my opinion and very helpful. I just got an Eno doublenest, my whoopie sling suspension with ridgeline, some webbing, new carabiners from REI (lighter), tarp from Sportsman's guide, some snake skins, a protector thing to go under my hammock from 2qzq and my mother got talked into making me an underquilt... All without even having set it up, slept in a real camping hammock, and basically just pulled the trigger for purchase. Thanks Sug!!!!!
Anyway, I have already found a bunch of resources thus far and am happy to lurk unknowingly around the forums with little knowledge to add much other than the occasional, "Nice" or "Sweet."
