"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn." — John Muir

I use 55-gallon contractor grade trash can liners... Ideally, the bags should be at least four mils thick. It's multi purpose and the bag can be split to make a good-sized ground cover.

Now in the winter A cheap 2$ reinforced polyethylen tarp. I use the same tarp to pack my stuff on the pulk in, so it does not need to be light. And they are nice and strong.
I need to pick up something... might try the Wal-Mart tarp. I've been bringing a piece of Reflectix which I also use as a sit mat. But I quickly found that in winter, standing on that piece of Reflectix on the snow is hazardous! =:-0 I was thinking of putting some strips of skateboard tape on the bottom of it....
Take it easy,
