I'm relatively new to hanging and am wondering if anyone is planning any hangs in SE/SW Wisconsin this spring. I'd really like to benefit from the knowledge/wisdom of other folks on this forum.

I have been wondering the same thing!
I'm open to ideas. Any thoughts? I've been sort of looking at Parnell Tower or Greenbush trails in the Kettle Moraine Northern unit. I'm also intrigued by Black River State Forest but I know absolutely nothing about the area.
April does not work for me. MAY does...
I'm up in Ashland and probably won't be able to make it down south but if anyone is thinking of a hang in the NW then maybe we could set something up. I'm fairly new to hammock camping and only didn't go to the winter hang because it was kinda chilly and windy that weekend....

I'd be interested depending on the dates. I'll be camping in Kettle Moraine South the weekend of the 18th in May. I think I'll follow this thread just to see what y'all wind up with and I'd love to join in if I can make it.
Are you staying at one of the backpacking shelters on the ice age trail? I live in Hartland not too far from there...
Tumbleweedz I think you are pretty nearby to me as well. About a ten minute drive from Waukesha.
I'd be interested in a hang out there, but I also love taking out my canoe and a trip on the Kickapoo river is on my bucket list for this summer. Definitely would be a cool 2 or 3 night trip. I'll keep my eyes on this thread.
