    Silicone tubing

Anyone know of a source for small qty (5 feet) of silicone tubing? I want to slide it over my modified pot handle on the Snowpeak. Thanks.

I'll check when I get home ... I might still have some left overs you're completely welcome to if you want. Might have close to five feet.

Oh and for the record you can get it at:

    United States Plastic Corp.
    1390 Neubrecht Road
    Lima, Ohio 45801-3196

    www.usplastic.com

1/8" version is what I have

Thanks! Tomorrow I am going to contact the local hobby shop. If they don't have any, I just might take you up on your offer! I would only need 2 feet.

You can get all kinds of tubing in the plumbing depts. of Lowes, and Home Depot. not sure if its silicone, but I think they have some as well as all other kinds of flexible tubing in all kinds of sizes.

I bought some small diameter silicone at a pet store (aquarium air hose). Unfortunately, it's not really a high temperature silicone and it did scorch and discolor a bit at the bottom of the handles on my MSR titan kettle. I did the same for a friend of mine and his are still like new. I guess I've turned up my stove higher.

If nobody else has some to PIF your way I think I still have some in the garage.
