Mule would you be interested in backpacking tomorrow? I'm headed out irregardless, but it's always more fun with company.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

Trout, where were you thinking about going? I was wanting to get out tomorrow night to get the gear ready for HH in April. I have to work tomorrow so I was planning on staying close to home. But depending on where you were thinking about going, I might be up for joining you.

Trout and evilleoter, I sent you a text but it was concerning starting Saturday, Yes I can get out tomorrow probably, not 100 % sure yet and it would be probably after noon or so before I could take off, I have to work in the morning. One complication is I promised my son and one of his friends I would go the 23rd, but he isn't really sure he can go then either. I will get back to you guys. See you soon I hope.

Just checked my Calendar and I don't have to work tomorrow after all. Were you guys going to go on a one nighted, just Friday, Friday night and Saturday? I could show you guys some different places down there if we go. Panther Creek for one, or if you want a long hike, Hayes Branch, or smack in the middle of the Deam is Crescent valley, bushwhack only.

I was hoping for one-nighter. Was thinking tomorrow night, so a shorter hike in would work better for me. I will get off work around 4 (CST down here in E'ville) and with I-69, I can be in Bloomington area in 1.5 hours. It might be dark when I am hiking in, but as long as I can get good directions, it shouldn't be an issue. Saturday I'd be up for some exploring and get home late afternoon.

How is the hike in to Panther Creek? How far is it from Bloomington?

Why don't we shoot for the Deam or the site of our Hoosier Hang, Brown Hollow.

BTW, Panther Creek trailhead is over by Nashville. If we went to the Deam we could be sure to find each other. Do you know how to get to Brown Hollow, though?
