    Ice fishing hang

Packing up the pulk to go ice fishing and hang overnight. It's -10*C (14*F), and clear skies, but some snow forecast later. Avalanche danger level is Orange (level 3) so staying in the flatlands. Well, I am to out of shape to bother with the hills while pulling a pulk anyway...

The trek will be the incredible distance of 200 meters from the road, but thats just a dirt road so not much traffic there. Going in on skis after the blizzard we had two days ago.

Okay, got stuff to pack, see you in the vid, and a forum member may visit :-)

Have fun. No snow here in guam, unfortunately...

Pics or it didn't happen... Can you hang inside your little hut thing?

I thought of doing something similar here in MN, but I couldn't figure how to do the hanging part. I need to build a stand or something, I guess.

    Good luck!

Wishing I was there. Aren't there plenty of trees on the up-wind shore? The advantage to hanging in winter is that nobody thinks its possible since they wont do it. Here's wishing you "steady hooking."
