Beautiful pics, they almost seem like clips from a movie.

    Basti,

We're you hanging in Germany? If so, where? I'm always looking for a place to hang in Germany.

    Hi Dave-O
i´m mostly hang in the Teutoburger Wald. Yes it is in Germany.
Normaly i hike with a Tarp or another Shelter, but it´s not so easy to find good spots for these. A hammock is easier for stealth camping....you know it´s not allowed to camp in the wilderness of Germany.

    There's one place to hang.

    Basti,

Your pictures were great. Too bad you had to stealth camp.

I know camping in the wilderness is illegal in Germany. It makes it challenging. I've managed to hang a couple of times with the Boy Scouts in some of the local campgrounds.

Someone on the forums found this place http://www.trekking-pfalz.de/de/. My son and I hiked and camped there for a couple of days in October. It was great! I don't know if it's worth the 4+ hour drive for you, but it's a way to hang legally .

    Sincerely,
    Dave-O
