Here's a Trip Report thread for the 1st annual Uwharrie Spring Hang.
Our group is planning to hold Uwharrie hangs twice each year - on "Time-Change" weekends, Spring Forward and Fall Back.
This was the 1st annual Uwharrie Spring Forward Hang.
Gunsfan05, Sleeping Beauty, and FluffytheCat - you were missed and we hope to see you again soon.
Fortunately, Hangin Burrito kept the fires burning...

I think I gained 10lbs on this trip. We had great food and of course we hung. I have pics I will upload at some point. Oh and there was chocolate cake, and some hammock hotties, but I don't have any pics pf those.

I had a great time as always meeting new friends and hanging with old friends. Can't wait for the time to change again.
Looks as if a good time was had by all. I'm gonna have to try and make it out to this hang at some point, if only I didn't have that work thing in the way.

Thanks for a great weekend all - that was fantastic.
The food on these hangs has been beyond belief - thank you to all the chef's and to everybody that brought stuff. If you weren't there Saturday, man you missed some great stew, BBQ, cobblers (both cherry and apple, mind you), buttermilk cream pies, chocolate cake, and more.
On Saturday night, somebody mentioned the videos of 3 sisters backpacking in the Smokeys.. I haven't watched them yet but thought I'd share the link:

Funny you should mention that, I was looking the Qiwiz Firefly site this morning, its a work of are with that little grill on top. So many titanium toys so little time......
