First Hang - never going back to ground again!

Took the kids to Daniel Boone N.F. on Cave Run Lake KY this weekend. Friday low of 23 and Sat 45 with my Hennessey Deep Jungle, bubble pad, and 0 degree synthetic bag.

Friday night was perfect with the low temp. Saturday I got a bit hot even just half under the 0 degree bag, had a good pool of sweat in the morning but slept great.

Not a single ache or pain...just wonderful!

Only problem is all three kids want their own hammock now!

Congratz! Yeah, that bubble pad can accumulate moisture pretty well. Eventually you'll want to invest in an underquilt to solve that problem and increase your comfort as well.

Zero aches & pains...yep, that is exactly why I personally love hammocks.
It sounds like you and your family had a great time. Have fun getting the kids hammock gear together for future trips out. The DIY threads on this site are so helpful (but can also be overly addictive.)
