TN> Land Between the Lakes this weekend anyone?? Nov 8-10

Just got my new UQ and TQ in and going out to test it. Wondering if anyone would like to come out and join me. Just hangout, maybe fish a little bit and overall just enjoy the outdoors.

Where are you going in LBL? I live in Dover and spend all the time I can between the lakes. My schedule is tight this weekend but maybe we could meet up and plan a hang later this fall. I plan to do a short hike and hang with MM and crew on the Fri night of their kayak trip.

Well that title is confusing.
My wife and two of her friends have scheduled a RV trip to the Paducah quilt show in April. The guys are going to have four days to kill while they do their quilt thing.
I have started to look at the area hoping to find some trails and areas for a hike. Can you give me any suggestions or sites for more information.

I'll give you a shout next time I get to go for an overnighter. Last weekend I hiked about 10 miles on Fri and camped at Briar Rose Spring just off Tharpe Rd. Here are a couple of pics.

Looks like a nice spot. Im thinking about going wednesday overnight to thursday. Its supposed to rain this weekend Im definately wanting to go pretty much anytime though.

Potneck-you still have leaves and color. At home the leaves are gone and snow (light) is on the ground.

No snow here but it looks a lot different now. It will really look different by the time you guys get here after Thanksgiving. That was one of the best weekends of this fall.
